Supporting the community through football!
England Football Accredited is for all non-professional leagues and clubs. It helps them create the experiences and environments where players, coaches and volunteers can thrive.
Accredited clubs are more sustainable, more resilient and built to last.
Loughborough Lions AFC football club is based in the heart of Loughborough, Leicestershire. We provide a FUN, safe environment for boys and girls of all abilities to come along and learn and develop their football skills whilst having FUN along the way.
Sadly, some children just don't live long enough.
We are delighted to announce that our chosen charity for Loughborough Lions AFC is Rainbows hospice right here in Loughborough. As a community club we want to help raise awareness and give back when we can. Now more than ever we need to help Rainbows continue the great work they do for children and their families.
We pride ourselves on being an open and transparent football club for all which aims to provide the best football experience for players, parents and coaches within our community. If you see or hear anything that you feel needs to be discussed or brought to our attention then please contact us immediately through our welfare officer. Contact details available under our Club Welfare information tab.
Play safe is being run in partnership with the NSPCC and has the full backing of the Premier League, EFL, Barclays FA Women’s Super League and the FA Women’s Championship. It’s also supported and being run across every other level of the game.
Among their key messages are the importance of listening to children, as well as knowing how and who to speak to if concerns do arise.
For more information on how we are helping support this campaign here at Loughborough Lions then please contact us through any our social media platforms, website, club phone or email. All details available on our websites home page.
REMEMBER SAFEGUARDING IS EVERYONES RESPONSIBILITY!!!
Football v Homophobia exists to challenge discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression at all levels in football. As an international initiative FvH engages in campaigning, education, advice and guidance, research, policy consultation and capacity building to:
1. Make existing football structures safe, welcoming and inclusive for LGBTI people.
2. Create opportunities and promote engagement of LGBTI people in football at all levels and in all forms.
3. Improve the representation and visibility of LGBTI people throughout football.
4. To realise the potential of football in society as a tool to create positive change.
Come along, get involved and meet the team!
