Formed at U7 level and competing this season as the Loughborough Lions U8 Reds, this young and energetic team is making excellent progress in the early stages of its football journey. Competing at Level 2, the squad is built around enjoyment, development, and teamwork, providing a positive and supportive environment for players to learn and grow.

The team is managed by Kyen Chapman, who proudly has his son Ronin within the squad, and is supported by assistant coach Tom Bedford, whose son Freddie is also part of the team. Together, they lead a committed group of eight players, focusing on skill development, confidence, and a love for the game.

In their first year as a team, the U8 Reds have already achieved notable success, winning the U7 Dynamo Cup and progressing rapidly from Level 5 to Level 2. This reflects both the players’ enthusiasm and the strong coaching structure in place.

The team is proudly supported by Engineered Air Treatment Ltd and Sports Advocate, whose sponsorship is greatly appreciated and helps provide valuable support for kit and equipment.

Training takes place every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, with sessions designed to be engaging, structured, fun and age-appropriate.
